The service

Know China AI answers research questions using a corpus of Chinese-language documents and, when you allow it, public web sources. Answers are generated by language models and cite the passages they draw on. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Verify against the cited originals before relying on them; the service is not legal, financial or professional advice.

Accounts

You need an account to ask questions. Keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. One person, one account: the free allowance is granted once per person.

Plans, payment and refunds

Paid plans renew automatically at the listed price until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Account page; access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds are described in the refund policy.

Usage limits (daily and weekly) exist to prevent abuse; a plan described as unlimited is subject to fair use by a person working by hand.

Acceptable use

You may use the service for research, teaching, journalism, policy analysis and similar work. You may not:

• Extract, scrape, or bulk-download corpus text, or redistribute retrieved passages beyond what fair quotation allows.
• Use automated tools against the web interface; automated access is available through the API on request.
• Share an account, resell access, or circumvent limits.
• Use the service to violate law, including export and sanctions rules, or the rights of others.

Content and intellectual property

The documents in the corpus belong to their publishers and authors. You receive a licence to view passages and export references for your own research. Answers you generate are yours to use, with the caveats above.

We may remove content from the corpus on a rights holder's request; write to the address below.

Availability and changes

We may change or discontinue features, and we may suspend accounts that breach these terms. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
